I really enjoyed this book. I love a good mystery thriller and this one kept me interested. I cared about the main characters and found the conversations to be realistic. That being said, there were a few times I found some of the characters actions to be unbelievable. It is fiction though and I love a good story of which this certainly was. It was an excellent book to curl up with.

Crap. It pisses me off that these authors deliberately write 10 decent pages to trick you into buying the book. Honestly this is filler filler and more filler! I don't care who so-and-so's brother's wife's Dad's plumber was! Don't write about it and expect me to pay for it. The interesting parts of this book would make a great short newspaper article.

How do you even rate a book like this. It was interesting to read a book about a serial killer in Missoula, but also a little scary! Makes me never want to get delivery.

I agree with the other readers who said that the filler could have been pared down in this one. A compelling story could be told without knowing about the history of every small town and knife manufacturer. That said, it was a decently written book in a genre that tends not to boast a ton of stellar writers.

Yuch!Here's a dust jacket that leaves nothing out but the gory details of the murders. After reading the first chapter, the mystery is totally uncovered. Why do that? I don't get it. I stopped reading this book after finishing 10%. Then, I deleted it off my Fire. Sorry, I just couldn't be bothered. The pictures reveal that the final victimless kill this dude.

Maybe a little too much background information on some of the victims but not enough about Wayne Nance himself. Sad that it took that many deaths to finally catch him! Goes to show you that you can not judge a book by its cover, he was such a nice, helpful person but oh so scary and sick!

Very well researched bookThis book gives a good review of the background and thinking of a serial killer. Very good telling of a truly chilling story.

Very well thought out and written. This is the best True Crime work that I have read. I found it hard to put down.

Not an easy readI found the book in an email list and gave it a read. The author makes a lot of statements of fact that I incorrectly assumed he would corroborate at the end.

What A Great ReadI am fascinated by serial killers. I have read a lot of books about them. Mr. Coston did a lot of research and I really enjoyed his book.

Good readingIt is hard to imagine such a depraved human being as Wayne Nance. It is hard to believe that he got away with all those murders for so long.

It was a bit creepy reading about a serial killer killing in my neighborhood places, but a really good book.

Bit toward the sensational, not the psychology, a bit bland.

Solid account of an interesting (albeit creepy) case.

Decently written, very readable story. Leans heavily on the fact that this guy was more normal than anyone and nobody suspected a thing.
